David Earl George, 67, passed away Saturday morning at his home in the Barton community surrounded by his loving family. David was the son and one of four children to Daniel Wallace & Climmie Winnie (Ball) George. He was born in Pascagoula June 17, 1952 and grew up in the area. He was an outgoing young man with a bit of a free spirit about him. He and his friends would take road trips at the drop of a hat, with only the coastlines as their limit. David loved history and math, always carrying a calculator with him. He worked in appliance repair for several years and then in the seafood industry for a while. David made his home in Biloxi until Katrina caused him to relocate. He has always been a very determined person, willing to stand his ground for whatever he believed, against all comers both small and large, it didn't matter to him. He enjoyed crosswords, sudoku and other puzzles, along with Jeopardy and other games that test your knowledge. David lived a selfless life, willing to help you with anything. Quite and reserved with highly intelligent are just a couple of words used to describe David. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend to many that will no doubt be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who truly knew him. David was preceded by his parents, Daniel W. & Climmie George, and a brother, Wallace George. Left to cherish his memories are: his brother Billy (Susan) George of Moss Point, and his sister, Wendy (Michael) Slaton of Barton, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring, with a memorial service to be set at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the George family in their time of need, asking everyone to please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this trying time.
