Darol Duane (Dude) (Hippie) Holloway I, 70 years old born February 23, 1950 passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Gulfport Memorial with his family by his side. Darol will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his love for the love of his life, his wife Brenda (Dudette) and gotta love him for being long winded and making everyone he met feel like an old time long standing friend. Darol was a 20 plus year construction worker more specifically a Buckhoist operator. Before Katrina you could see the hardwork and dedication of Darol all across the MS Gulf Coast. And he always missed working with his father in law, James Ray Harris, Sr. at Wiggins Lumber Company. Darol is preceded in death by his parents, William Holloway and Evenlyn Holloway; 1 brother, Bill Holloway; 1 sister, Barbara Donovan and 1 brother in law, Ron Donovan; his father in law, James Ray (Dad) Harris Sr and uncles Billy, Tommy and Roger Mitchell and Uncle Elbert Harris and Aunt Mary Harris. Darol is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda (Dudette) Holloway; 4 children, Tashana (William) Butler, Darol (Ashley) Holloway II, Suzzie (Stephen) Lee and Jesse Holloway; his mother in law, Lucy (Mom) Harris; 1 brother, Mike (Rose Holloway; 1 sister in law, Kim (Jay) Harris; 2 nieces Rhonda (Skip) Rawlings-Webber, and Monti (Dean) Richey;3 nephews Marshall (Melody) Holloway, Michael (Wanda) Holloway, and Brian Donovan ; 20 grandkids, Dillan (Anna) Holloway, Jeremey, BrendaAnn and Patrick Bosarge, William Jr, Trindey and Leona Butler, Jace and Aiden Herrin, Kaydence, Aleah, Darol III, Piper and Penelope Holloway, Angel (Travis) Cunningham, and Stephen Lee III, Bubba and Destinee Eaton; 7 great grandkids, Athena, Dillan II, Riku and Tidus Holloway, Eli, Aiden and Maddie Eaton.
Without Darol in my life I would have never known the happiness only he could show me, we had hard times but Darol was always by my side, he was and is the love of my life, the last 40 years have been the happiest years of my life. Darol made me the person I am today, I love Darol with all my heart always and forever more than words can say.
Hey Daddy we will have that talk when we meet again. I love and miss you very much. Love your sportman.

A Visitation will be held at Trinity Funeral Services on Monday, November 16 beginning at noon with funeral services at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Wiggins. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Holloway Family and asks that you keep them in your prayers over the coming days.
