Clifford Wayne "Cleo" Waller, 63, passed away Saturday morning at his home in Wiggins. He was born January11, 1957 in Muskegon, Michigan, the sixth of eight and son of Dewey Max and Gladys Elaine (Davidson) Waller. Cleo grew up in Muskegon where he enjoyed football and building things, joining the US Army after graduating from high school. Following his discharge, Cleo was married and lived in Colorado for a few years before moving to Florida and eventually back to Michigan. He made a successful, life-long career as a talented carpenter in construction and could literally build anything. In 2014, Cleo moved to Wiggins to help his sister with her business, Wiggins Campground on Hwy 49 just North of Fruitland Park. He is remembered not just as funny, but rather a hilarious and "crazy as they come" type of guy. Cleo was spontaneous, bringing smiles out wherever he went and was the type to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his family and his dog, doing anything for them. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life he touched. Cleo was preceded by his parents and six of his eight siblings, brothers Donnie, John, David, Steven, Bobby and Mark. Left to cherish his memories are: his two children, a daughter April Wolcott of FL and a son Michael Waller; his sister Suzan (Lawrence) West of Lakeland, FL, and his dachshund Winston. Cleo leaves ta legacy of three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends and laughs all across the country. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Waller family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over this trying time.
