Brian Kelly Lemasters

Brian Kelly Lemasters, 64, of Perkinston, MS., passed away on April 16, 2024, at Memorial Hospital at Stone County in Wiggins, MS. Brian was born on January 09, 1960, in Independence, Missouri to his parents Arthur and Billie (Nettleton) Lemasters. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in Missouri, where he played football and secured a state title while there. Brian grew up in a little bit of everywhere, but one thing that stayed the same was his love of deep-sea fishing. He was a true outdoorsman, with a love of fishing, hunting, and gardening. He canned vegetables and anything he cooked was sure to be nothing short of amazing, especially his apple pie. Brian was a devoted husband of 38 years to the love of his life, Donna, and there was very little that Donna had to do for herself. Brian showed his love of caring for her through everyday tasks, like pumping her gas, something she had never done before he became sick and could no longer do it for her. Brian loved his children and grandchildren, leaving them with no doubt of just how much they meant to him. He was a MacGyver and a jack of all trades, not once did they have to call for work to be done around the house if something broke, because he could fix anything. He worked for many years as a painter, owning his own business, Lemasters Painting. Brian was the best dad, husband, and grandfather who will be immensely missed by those who loved and cherished him. Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Billie Lemasters; one brother, Arthur Lemasters; and one son William Brian Lemasters. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Donna (Carver) Lemasters of Perkinston; one daughter, Melissa Dedeaux of Perkinston; a legacy of four grandchildren; Carlee Lemasters, Aubree Dedeaux, Kynlee Dedeaux, and William Lemasters, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services for Brian will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am for a graveside service at Long Beach City Cemetery.
