Brenda Ann Leonard

 Brenda Ann Leonard born November 26, 1942. She was welcomed into heaven on November 28, 2022 by Jesus and her late parents, John D. Leonard and Eddie Sue Johnson Leonard of Hattiesburg, MS. Brenda’s parents raised her in their Christian home on the corner of Miamie Street in Hattiesburg, MS. They lived in walking distance from Forest General Hospital. Brenda walked to the hospital every day to visit and to get sweet tea and RC Cola. After both of her parents passed away, she was entrusted by her mother’s request into the sole custody of Edward Lee Cox and Patsy Rae Cox. She quickly became part of the Cox family surrounded by Christian love from the entire family. Brenda was faithful to all especially Jesus and she lived her life from a childlike perspective and being so she loved all children. Matthew 19:14 Jesus said let all my children come unto me. Jesus called Brenda home in peace and love, she was a blessing and gift from beyond this world. She was in the Cox family for over 20 years, Brenda was an honor to pray for and with. Until we meet again in Glory Land we will love you always, The Edward Cox Family. Brenda is survived by many family members that she gave silly nicknames to identify including, Edward “ Leo” Cox, Margie and Jamie “Koo Koo” Townsend, Eddie “Koo Baby” and Lisa “Big Momma” Cox, Norma “EO” and Jerome Saucier, Jason Johnson “Big Big Baby”,  Johnny Johnson, and Riley “Baby”, Jenifer and Billy Davis, Conner and Cooper “Babies”, Ben and Stacy Townsend, Scott, Drew, Jeff, Noah, Emiliee, Natalie, Luke “Babies”, Rebecca and Josh Gieger, Avery Claire, and Zane “Baby”, Bret and Katie, Corbin, and Baker, “Babies” Cox, Michael and Lisa Saucier, Kenlee, Channing, Avery Pearl “Baby”, Morgan And Jason Finnell Sr., Jason , and Austin Finnell.
