Brandy Michelle Mallet was truly an angel sent from God to brighten our family! She came to us March 12, 1977 in Borger, TX, the daughter of Anthony Bruce Mallett and Linda Gail (Mullinax) Huffman. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Brandy grew up in Saucier off Hwy. 15. She lived life to the fullest every single day of the fourty-four years we were blessed to have her here, until God called her back to heaven Saturday, July 18th. She enjoyed music, movies and just about anything purple. Brandy loved to color and paint with watercolors, but if Dirty Dancing was on, nothing could distract her from her most favorite movie. She attended D'Iberville High School, graduating with the Class of 1997. Brandy lived in the Gautier Home of South MS Regional Center where she was as active as ever. From field trips, bowling outings and even competing as a Special Olympian, Brandy was always actively involved with something. She worked with other residents making things for local businesses, such as coat hangers, plastic utensil packs, stuffing envelopes and so much more. In her free time, it was coloring or painting and listening to music. Brandy was a Christian and member at Ramsey Creek Baptist Church where she loved the hymns and singing. Even with all she dealt with in her life, you rarely ever saw her without a radiant smile on her face, brightening up any room just by coming in. She could spend hours looking through family photo albums and often did. Brandy was a loving daughter, sister and friend that will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life she touched. She was preceded by her maternal grandmother, Faye Mullinax and paternal grandparents Dennis & Bonnie Mallett. Left to cherish the many fond memories are: her mother Linda (Gary) Huffman of Texas; her bonus mom, Debbie Mallett of Saucier; her father Bruce Mallett of the Philippines; her siblings: Kassandra (Travis) Northcutt of D'Iberville, Shannon Mallett of Gautier, Joshua (Tasha) Mallett and Jessica (Steve) Trochesset, both of Ramsey Springs, Jerrod Mallett of Saucier and Bryleigh Mallett of Cagayan De Oro, Philippines. She leaves a legacy of numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The Mallett family would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to all of Brandy's "second family", the staff and residents at SMRC's Gautier Home, and a special thanks to the Tim Tebow Foundation for their efforts in meeting Brandy's needs. The family has set services for Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Ramsey Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Afterward Brandy will be laid to rest in the Mallett Cemetery by the church. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Mallett family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
