Brandie Michelle Lonnborg, 42 passed away due to COVID complications on April 24th at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, MS. She was born October 3, 1978 in Gulfport, MS to Walter Jr and Barbara Lonnborg. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wallace and Lora Haas, Walter “Buddy” and Catherine Lonnborg and nephew, Jonathan Sellars. She leaves behind her parents, Walt Jr and Barbara Lonnborg; fiancé, Jeremy Marshall; brother and sister-in-law, Walter III and Eddie Lonnborg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula Lee and Steve Hecko and Kathy Lynn and Kenneth Marshall; her godchildren, Joseph Charles Jones and Ira Elijah Jones along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Brandie graduated Class of ’97 from Harrison Central High School and then went on to MGCCC to receive an Associate Degree. Her first job was as a restaurant hostess at age 15 and worked positions in the Hospitality and Financing Industries. Brandie worked for Global Financial Aid Services for over 15 years and advanced to a position as Operations Specialist. Everyone that knew her will remember her for her outgoing, loving, and caring personality. She was definitely a go getter. She loved the challenge of problem solving. She planned and organized cruises and outings for big and small groups of family members and friends. Brandie loved life and believed in living it to the fullest. She was close to so many people and had such a positive influence on many. She was rarely found without a smile on her face and would always leave a smile with you. Brandie was loved and will be missed beyond measure. A Visitation will take place on Friday, April 30th from 11 am to 1 pm at Annunciation Church. Funeral ceremony will be at 1 pm with interment to follow at Bayou CoCo Cemetery.
