Benjamin Ogburn Obituary

Benjamin Hillory Ogburn, 38, passed away on April 21, 2022 at his home in Wiggins, MS. He was born on January 13, 1984 in Gulfport, the youngest of nine children to Lomax, and one of three with his second wife, Vonnie Mae (Corley) Ogburn. Ben grew up between McHenry and Wiggins in Stone County and enjoyed outdoors things like fishing, hunting, and more. Ben was home schooled, and worked some as a helper for his dad in the masonry business, along with some other odd jobs along the way. He is remembered as a good person who loved his family no matter what, and was always willing to help if possible. Ben was Ben, and those who knew and loved him will definitely miss him dearly. He was preceded by his parents, Lomax and Vonnie Ogburn. Left to cherish his memories are: his brothers Tony (Belinda) Ogburn of Wiggins and Terry (Sherri) Ogburn of Long Beach, with one sister, Lanetha (Harold) Jackson of Sevierville, TN. He also leaves numerous extended family and friends through the years. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring and may hold a memorial service at a later date. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Ogburn family in their time of need, and asks everyone to remember them in your thoughts and prayers over this difficult time.
