Belen (Garcia) Butler

Belen Butler, age 73, of Saucier passed away September 22, 2019 in Gulfport.  She was born in Texas to Hilario and Rosa Garcia on February 18, 1946.  Belen was a God fearing, prayerful lady with a kind heart. Her family and friends will fondly remember her goofy, eccentric and caring spirit.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets, adult coloring books and fishing.  She had a knack for cooking, getting ideas from the Food Network and having get-togethers.  Everyone will remember Belen’s favorite quotes as “God Bless You”, “Thank You Jesus” and “This is just about the best thing I ever ate”.  Though Belen is gone, her memory will live on through all the great times we had with her. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Orange Grove Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Butler Jr.; parents; an infant son, Jonathan; nephew, Larry Garcia and siblings, Margarito Garcia, Andrea Garcia, Petra Juarez.  She is survived by Juan (Genie) Rivera "like" a son to her; sibling, Pedro Garcia; grandchildren, Dwayne and Johnathan; nieces and nephews, Fidela, Lydia, Pete Jr., Theresa, Eddie and Jose and many more in Texas and Washington State.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Belen and ask that you keep the family in your prayers during the coming days.
