Alice grew up in the Black Creek area of Eastern Stone county and was an active, outgoing young lady. Her family did a lot of farming and basically lived off the land as much as possible. Together they raised three children and called Stone county home their entire lives. She remained a very independent lady that loved listening to gospel music and taking care of her plants. Alice had a green thumb and could grow just about anything she wanted. She was a Christian by faith, and a long-time member at New Morning Star M.B. Church there in Dawson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and trusted friend who will be dearly missed by all whose life she touched. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.D. Hall, and her three children, sons Donald Ray Hall and Dondi Hall, and most recently by her daughter, Theresa Redeemer. Left to cherish her memories are her grandson, Mark Redeemer of Wiggins, her sister, Luella Moore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held in conjunction with her daughter Theresa, on Saturday, September 9th at New Morning Star M.B. Church with Pastor Anton McBride officiating. The service is set for 1:00 PM and all who knew and loved her are encouraged to come celebrate both her and Theresa with the family.
