Yvonne Kimmel Schenk

Yvonne Kimmel Schenk 78, of Bay St. Louis gained her wings in the early hours of the morning on June 26, 2023. Yvonne was born on March 5, 1945, to Edward Kimmel and Henrietta Bourgeois. Yvonne dedicated many years of her life in several different health care facilities caring for the elderly and disabled. After many years working in facilities she decided it was time to start working for private home care. Yvonne is still remembered today for always going above and beyond with patients. She loved taking her patients on vacations, cruises, fishing, and many other adventures. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially on cruise ships, shopping, bingo, and spending time with family and friends. Yvonne was considered an incredibly strong woman, she fought for everything she loved. Yvonne was proceeded in death by her mother and father Edward and Henrietta Kimmel, brother Charles Kimmel, and daughter Georgia K Breland. She is survived by her two children Debra Michaelson (Bob) and Michael Kimmel; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three sisters Linda, Cynthia, And Gloria. The family is honoring Yvonne’s wishes and will not be having a memorial service. Yvonne’s request was to not shed any tears for her, instead she wanted everyone to live, love, and laugh. She will truly be missed by all the lives she touched.
