Wynona (Glidewell) Hynes

Wynona Glidewell Hynes, 70 of Gulfport, passed away March 17, 2020 at Ocean Springs Hospital.  She was born November 14, 1949 to Jim and Catherine (Wilford) Glidewell in Mobile, Alabama.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Bert Lindsay and George Hynes and brother Allen Glidewell.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her sons, Chad (Tiffany) and Brian (Michelle) Lindsay; grandson, Brandon Lindsay; twin sister, Dynona (John) Goekler; sister, Lisa (Troy) Rich; brother, Mike Glidewell along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.  Wynona was the oldest of five just by a few minutes!  Her hobbies included crocheting and gardening.  It is been said she had a green hand not a green thumb.  She enjoyed her time working at the Grand Casino in Gulfport as a Pit Boss.  She had a kind and gentle spirit and loved spending time with family and friends.  She never kept a smile to herself.  Wynona was the type of woman that you always knew where you stood with her.  Wynona was adored and loved by all that knew her and will be missed beyond measure.  The family is honoring Wynona’s wishes and having a private ceremony at Finley Cemetery at a later date.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Wynona and ask that you keep her families in your prayers during this difficult time.
