Winogean Lillian Bond

Mrs. Winogean Hatten Bond of Wiggins, Mississippi, was born on January 23, 1939, and departed this life on July 10, 2025, at the age of 86.

Winogean was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duncan Jesse Hatten and Lillian Clayton Hatten, her sister Lavell Hatten Cooper, her brothers Alvah Hatten and Duncan Ray Hatten, her son Harold Rawls, and her niece Sondra Breland.

Survivors include her husband Jerrell Bond, her son Terrell Rawls (Linda), daughter-in-law Beth Rawls and grandson Ellis Rawls, all of Wiggins; great-grandsons Landon Rawls and Eli Rawls of Poplarville; great-granddaughter Haley Rawls and great-grandson Hayden Rawls of Frostburg, Maryland; her sisters-in-law Laura Hatten Bridges and Nelda Hatten of Wiggins; nephews Garry Breland (Mary Beth) of Hattiesburg and Jody Hatten of Wiggins; nieces Deborah Breland Liveoak (Laddie) of Chatsworth, Georgia, Sharon Breland Prescott (Randy) of Wiggins, and Jerri Hatten Whitecotton (Derek) of Hattiesburg. In addition, she is survived by many cousins, grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

Winogean enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. She faithfully served her church and community and volunteered at Feed My Sheep, a faith-based program dedicated to providing nourishment to the homeless, homebound, and needy of the Gulfport area.
