Ms. Wilma Laurine Harrington

Wilma Harrington, 68 of the Big Level community, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, Feb. 27th. Originally from Winamac, IN, Wilma was the 5th of 9 children to Herbert & Mary Ellen Hunnicutt. She was born October 4, 1949, and grew up in Winamac. Wilma was an outgoing and vivacious young lady that loved animals and baking. After high school, she became a CNA, and worked in the healthcare field for several years. Wilma is remembered as a mischevious, outgoing and fun-loving sister that had a loving, caring heart. She loved to crochet, and was faithful to her church. Locally she attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, and was also an active member of Across Calvary ONM. A loving and devoted mother, Wilma loved kids, was a helpful, forgiving lady who always had a smile on her face. She will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who's life she touched. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Herbert A. & Mary Ellen (Wayne) Hunnicutt, and her husbands, Richard Johnson and Richard Harrington; one sister, Bonnie Mussleman, and one brother, Jerald Hunnicutt. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Eric Johnson (Kelli Bond) of Perkinston; siblings Nancy Johnson-Muir of Rochester, IN, Mildred Besoui of Milton, FL, Gertrude (Cliff) Willing of Greer, SC, Robert (Dulcine) Hunnitutt of Knox, IN, James (Becky) Hunnicutt of Logansport, IN, Francis (Kay) Hunnicutt of Denton, IN, and Roberta Scheffer of Anderson, SC; a grand-daughter, Audrey Bankston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended church family, friends, and neighbors. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 5th, at Dominion and Power Family Life Center in Wiggins, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Afterward, she will be interred at the Sellers Family Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Harrington family in their time of need, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
