Mr. Willie Ausberry Dubois Iii

Willie Ausberry DuBois, III, 45 of Lumberton, passed away September 27 in Hattiesburg, MS. Willie was born Nov. 17, 1972 in Texas, the oldest of 2 children to Willie & Gloria (Grigsby) Dubois, Jr. He grew up in cities around the US and Europe, as his father served in the US Air Force. Willie loved sports, and played as many as he could, including basketball and football. He also loved to draw, and became quite accomplished at it, earning an art scholarship to a school in Southern Florida. He chose a different path, making his career in construction. He is fondly remembered as a "clown", someone that enjoyed life, and lived it to it's fullest. A caring father, brother, and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his mother, Gloria Dean (Grigsby) Dubois. Left to cherish his memories are: his only daughter, Jalyssa (Joseph) Jones of Lumberton; his father, Willie A. Dubois, Jr in the Philippines; his sister, Cassandra Dubois of FL; a niece, Jacqlynn Tatro of FL; aunts Emma Dubois of WV and Dr. Jackie Dubois of TX; and his grandchildren, Anastasia and Malakye Jones of Lumberton, along with numerous friends scattered all over. Willie's wish was to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the DuBois family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
