Whitley Alexis
McQueen
August 30, 1999 – May 9, 2026
Whitley Alexis McQueen, 26, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and inspiration that touched countless lives. Though she faced many challenges throughout her life, Whitley never allowed her disabilities to define her. Instead, she faced each day with courage, determination, and a warrior spirit that inspired everyone around her.
Whitley was full of life and had a vibrant soul. She loved animals, especially her beloved dogs, Sunshine and Sky. “Bougie she was.” She enjoyed arts and crafts, creating TikTok content, doing her makeup, dancing, traveling, and spending time on the river. She loved staying busy, tinkering with things, and living life to the fullest no matter what obstacles came her way. Her beautiful smile, resilient spirit, and loving heart made her truly a gift to the world.
More than anything, Whitley loved encouraging others with disabilities to keep going, to believe in themselves, and to understand they were capable of anything. She was a survivor in every sense of the word and a shining example of perseverance, strength, and hope.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin McQueen; grandparents, Carver “Pops” and Aloyse “Gaga” Spiers; and her cousin, Steven P. Hoda Jr. “Little Steven”.
Whitley is survived by the most devoted and loving mother, Priscilla (Steven) Stockstill; brother, Trevor Patterson; half-brother, Jeromy Gabbard; step-sisters, Shalyn (Zack) Miller and Shaina (Ethan) Kennedy; niece, Kaycee Patterson; nephews, Grayson and Elias Patterson; grandparents, Pat and Sharon Hoda; step-grandparents, Tom and Donna Stockstill; uncles, Steven (Tiffany) Hoda, Stanley Hoda, Tink (Lori) McQueen, Kevin McQueen, and Tommy (Kemlyn) Stockstill; aunts, Leslie (Scotty) Brecher, Dareen (James) Lynch, and Tonya (Gary) Landry; cousins, Heather (David) Torres, Donavan Hoda, Abby Wilson, Jamie (Richard) Labranche, Zachary Stockstill, Kashlyn (Dalton) Russeau, and Nick Blomgren; along with numerous other loving cousins, family members, and friends.
The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Whitley’s caregivers, Jennifer Lynn and Stephanie Adams, for the love and care they shared with her.
Whitley’s life was a testimony of resilience, joy, and unconditional love. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made on others will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the McQueen Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
