Wayne Allen Prive, 66, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2025, at the age of 66 in Wiggins, Mississippi. Born on April 11, 1959, in Manchester, New Hampshire. Wayne was a true free spirit, living life by his own rules and embodying the simple joys that life can offer. He was rarely seen without his trademark sunglasses perched on his head, ready for whatever the day would bring. A master carpenter and the ultimate "Mr. Fix-It," Wayne was known for his incredible skills and creativity in tackling any project that came his way. His hands not only built structures but also created lasting memories shared with his loved ones. He shared an unbreakable bond with his brother, with whom he lived on the family property. Their weekly ritual of enjoying breakfast together at Waffle House is a cherished memory, symbolizing their close relationship and the love they had for each other. An avid BBQ enthusiast, Wayne was the undisputed master of grilling, especially shrimp and steak. As a little Christmas tradition between him and his brother, they would always BBQ up steaks. His laughter and humor filled the air, as he was always the jokester, quick with a comeback, and relished the joy of making others laugh. He had a unique way of leaving a room, never saying goodbye but simply walking away, leaving everyone with a smile. Wayne enjoyed the great outdoors, taking pleasure in simple activities such as mowing his lawn every single day. Although Wayne is no longer with us, his spirit will live on through the countless memories he created, the love he shared, and the lessons he imparted. He was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Prive; parents, Milton Prive and Constance McCarney; stepfather, A.C. Mac McCarney; siblings, Lee-Anne Groves, Kathy Lester, Patricia Virgilio, and Vicky Marin.
