Wanda Gail Martin

Wanda Gail Reid Martin was born November 28, 1956 at the Pearl River County Hospital in Poplarville, MS to parents John and Nellia Reid. She attended school in Lumberton, MS. A beloved mother, a loyal wife, a daughter, sister, and cherished friend. She devoted her life to her family and home and especially God. She met the love of her life, Lucky Martin, and they were married on December 31, 1972. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas. She was called home by God after a battle with cancer, passing on August 10, 2024 at their home in Lumberton, MS surrounded by her husband, children, family and friends. She will forever be missed by her husband-Lucky Martin, son Darrell, Daughter Karen (Wayne Johnson), son Kevin; two grandsons-Jared (Katie), and Matthew (Lea); her mother- Nellia Reid, two brothers, Randall Reid (Lynita), and Mike Reid (MaryAnne). Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Martin family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Services will be held at Trinity Funeral Home in Lumberton, MS. Wake- Thursday, August 15, 5:30pm for family, 6pm for everyone. Funeral Service at 10AM Friday and interment at Union Grove Cemetery beside her father John Reid and among other family.
