Walter Peter Olson

Walter Peter Olson (62) better known as "Bama" of Lumberton, Ms. passed on Saturday March 24 at his residence with his loving wife, daughter, brother Harry and friends present. His family described him as a very fun-loving person but could also be a little rough around the edges. He loved life and family always worried about everyone else instead of himself. He worked, lived, played and died hard. He loved his little Chihuahua and kept the bologna factory in business. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Madaline (Lewis)Olson,2 brothers Mike and Steve Olson. He is survived by his wife Deborah, of Lumberton, daughter, Geri Patterson of Greenville, SC., and 2 siblings Rosie Wilson of Sims, Al and Harry Olson of Daphine,Al. along with two Granddaughters, nine step Grands and five Step great grands and one adopted grandson. A celebration of Walter's life will be at Trinity Funeral Services Lumberton, Ms from 2:00 PM till 4:00PM on Saturday March 31, 2018. Walter will be sorely missed but Family asked that all family and friends please come celebrate his life with us.
