Waldron Billiot, 77 of McHenry, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 13th at his home. He was born June 1, 1941 in Houma, LA, the middle of three boys to Jesse & Ann Billiot. He grew up in the New Orleans area, and as most South LA boys, he loved to fish. From an early age, Waldron had a hard-work ethic. He made a career as a welder, working many years in the shipbuilding industry. He was a determined, yet light-hearted man who worked hard to provide for his family. Waldron enjoyed old western movies and tv shows, classic cars, and had a great sense of humor. He is remembered as a loving, encouraging father; a strong willed protector of his family, and a devoted husband. He will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceeded by his parents, a son, Mark Andrew, a daughter, Wanda Ann, his two brothers Jesse and Adrian, a nephew, Scott Billiot, and a granddaughter, Sarah Epstein. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Brenda; his sons, Waldron Andre' Billiot of McHenry, and David Billiot of Long Beach; step-daughter Vera May Phenice; grand daughters Windy Nelson and Brooke Epstein, one great-granddaughter, and many friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends for visitation at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 16th, at McHenry First Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 3:00. Interment will follow at McHenry Gardens Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Billiot family, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
