Mrs. Vondell Deters

Mrs. Vondell Deters, 74 of Lumberton, passed away earlier this morning at Merit Health in Hattiesburg. She enjoyed sports, and attended many baseball games with her husband throughout her lifetime. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Coach Joe Deters of Lumberton, and her two children, Tiffany Murray (William) of Brooklyn, and Joseph Deters (Elizabeth) of Lumberton; and her six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Velma Reyer. A visitation is set for Thursday, September 22nd from 6 to 9 PM, with a funeral service at 10 AM, all at Trinity Funeral Services' Lumberton Branch, located at 304 N. 2nd Street. Interment will follow at Byrdline Cemetery. Trinity FUneral Services is honored to serve the Deters family in their time of need.
