Vernon Dale Cuevas

Vernon Cuevas departed this life on June 29, 2024, at his home in Pass Christian, MS. Born on December 3, 1954, in Gulfport, MS, Vernon was a vibrant soul whose warmth touched many throughout his 69 years. Vernon spent over 25 years as a beloved Avon representative, combining his affinity for people with a keen eye for beauty, that was also evident in the exquisite floral arrangements he crafted. Vernon's sociability knew no bounds, and his cheerful presence was a constant in the community. He devotedly cherished his mother throughout his life and found joy in simple pleasures, like engaging conversations with friends and savoring delicious meals. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Vermon Cuevas and Aletha Honaker. He is survived by his companion Paul Shubert, and the countless friendships he cultivated. Vernon Cuevas will be dearly missed, yet his zest for life will continue to inspire.
