Valerie Rose Snow

Valerie Rose Snow passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, in Lumberton, Mississippi. Born on September 12, 1957, in Sterling, Colorado. Valerie's journey took her from Sterling to Palmdale, California, and finally to the Mississippi, a move inspired by her husband's career. Throughout these moves, the constant thread was the love and companionship of her husband of 39 years. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, creativity, and mutual support. A master crocheter, Valerie's hands were rarely still as she crafted beautiful blankets and hot pads that were works of art. Each stitch was a testament to her patience and skill, and her husband's involvement in selecting colors for each piece made their creation a shared labor of love. Valerie's passions extended beyond the yarn and hook. She was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, lost in other worlds and times. She enjoyed cooking meals and her usual morning oatmeal. Valerie loved nature, she found joy in watching the wildlife that visited her beautiful backyard, a serene sanctuary where she spent many contented hours. She will be missed dearly. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Carl Snow; daughter, Amber Marqez; brother, Randy Nab. Valerie is preceded by her parents, Valentine and Irene, Sr; siblings, Robert Nab, Wayne Nab, Valentine Nab, Jr, and Anna Nab.
