August 4, 1980 — February 18, 2025

Saucier

Tomika “Tbird” Shallimar Lane passed away on February 18, 2025 in Saucier, Mississippi. She was born on August 04, 1980 in Fort Ord California to Sandra Lea Campbell.

With a heart as big as her love for family, Tomika Shallimar Lane passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion. She had a nurturing soul, always looking after children and standing by her loved ones, ready to help in any way she could. Fiercely strong-willed yet deeply compassionate, she was the one people could always count on.

Tomika had a special connection with animals, working as a veterinary technician and dedicating her time to helping creatures in need. Whether caring for pets at work or giving love to the many animals that crossed her path, she found joy in their companionship. She inspired her sister Reagan to become a veterinary technician.

A true lover of books, she spent time as a bookstore manager, where she thrived being surrounded by literature and the comfort of a good story. Stephen King was her favorite author, and she loved getting lost in the thrill of his novels. She had a deep appreciation for music, especially the raw and soulful voice of Janis Joplin. In her free time, she enjoyed watching funny movies, embracing the joy of laughter.

Tomika's warmth, love, and giving spirit touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.

Tomika is preceded by her grandparents, Elmer Charles Lane, Betty and Raphael Lavergne, and Loraine and Chet Oswandel.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving parents, Sandra Lea Campbell and Richard Lavergne; siblings, Christopher Abbott, Joseph Lavergne, Richard “Tripp” Quintana-Campbell, and Reagan Quintana-Campbell. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and her cat Gizmo.
