Tina Dawn (Parrish) Saucier

Tina Dawn Saucier, 69 and originally from London, England, passed away November 17th at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg after a lengthy illness. She was born March 30, 1955 in London, one of four children to parents Jack and Stella Parish. Tina grew up in London and loved to travel. After finishing school, she made her way to Abu Dhabi, where she would meet Gene Saucier, a Purvis native working there in the oil buisness. They eventually married and lived in several places around the Middle East area, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Cypress. In 1998 the family returned to the United States and made their home in Purvis. Tina is well remembered as everybody's friend. One of the most kind hearted family women ever, she would do anything for anyone. Family was her number one passion, and if she had a hobby outside being with family, it had to be shopping. Tina could shop all day…literally…a trait she passed to her daughter. When she was home, she enjoyed reading and her soaps, which she didn't miss. A loving woman who was even more loved by her family, she will be forever missed by all who ever knew her. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Stella Parish, and her brother Ray Parish. Left to cherish the many fond memories are: her only daughter, Christina (Richard) Rogers of Lumberton; one sister, Linda (John) Parish, and a brother Steve Parish, both of London, England. Tina leaves a legacy of three grandchildren: Paige (Chance) Fairley, Regan Rogers, and Rachel Rogers, whom she loved beyond words, her niece Lucy, and a nephew George, along with countless friends scattered around the globe. Tina's wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring and will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
