Mr. Timothy George Hays

Mr. Timothy G. Hays, 48 of Theodore, AL, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. Tim, better know as "Gabby" to those who truly knew him, was born August 29, 1969 in Everett, WA., the youngest of five children to Charles & Jacqueline (Davis) Hays, while his father was in the Northwest working for Boeing. They returned to South AL not long after, and Gabby grew up in Theodore. He loved music and dancing from an early age, and was very outgoing and filled with social energy. He was witty and fun to be around, easily gaining smiles at any occasion. Gabby attended and graduated from Theodore High School, a member of the Class of 1987. He worked for a while on tug boats, but found a career in sheet metal building ducts for HVAC, and was a member of SMART, the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers Local 441. Gabby had his share of struggles in life, but was a very caring man with a huge heart. A loving brother, father, and devoted friend, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his parents, Charles & Jacqueline, and his sister, Dana M. Hays. Left to cherish his memories are his children, daughter Ashlyn Hays of Mobile, and his son, US Army PV2 Jonathan Hays, currently stationed at Ft. Riley, KS, along with their mother, his former wife and trusted friend, Jennifer Kimbrough; his sisters, Vicki (Gordon) Stanley of Daphne, Terri (Robert) Cox and Bonita Price, both of Mobile; his nieces, nephews, and many friends. A memorial service for Gabby will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 at 2 PM. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Hays family, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
