Thomas Randall Mohr, 54, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Born on January 25, 1971, in Georgia, Thomas's life was a kaleidoscope of experiences that shaped a man beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Growing up under the teachings of his father, a history professor, he gained a passion for learning. Traveling around, living in different parts of the country, gave him the opportunity to expand his knowledge of all there was to offer. He had an uncanny ability to fix anything. Often, one gaze upon a broken object was all it took for him to understand precisely what needed to be done. His culinary skills, especially in preparing mouthwatering crawfish boils, smoking chicken to perfection, and concocting his famous secret sauce, were celebrated by friends and family. Thomas' love for BBQ was contagious, and he often encouraged his family to always take a detour to Gibson's BBQ any chance they had. A true early riser, he greeted each dawn before the neighborhood roosters had their say, cheerfully waking those around him with a gentle tap at the window, a ritual that soon became a cherished memory. The Perry family, who embraced and loved him as one of their own, held a special place in his heart. The bond he shared with his mother-in-law reflected an exceptional warmth and mutual respect. With Trina Perry, his supportive partner and best friend, he found a love that would last forever. Thomas's proudest moments were those spent with his daughters, whether teaching them the joys of four-wheeling or the patience of fishing on the boat. His life was a testament to his role as a family man, his pride in his girls shining through his every word and action. His fur babies, Milkshake the min pin chihuahua and Coco the chocolate lab, completed the family, with Milkshake by his side as his loyal companion, and Coco eagerly awaiting his return in the driveway. Left to cherish his memories are his companion of 20 years, Trina Perry and their children, Zoe and Isabella Mohr. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Mohr family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead.
