Thomas Joseph Larkowski, 91, passed away March 27, 2023, in Gulfport, MS. Born to Stanley and Olevia (Ladnier) Larkowski on August 30, 1931, in Gulfport, MS. Thomas grew up in Saucier and Pass Christian, where he graduated from St. Paul’s Catholic School. He met the woman who would then become his wife of 67 years, in Viator's Grocery in Gulfport, where he would pick up groceries for his mother’s café. Tom began his work career with Adolph Bourdin's Heating & Air in Pass Christian. He then went to selling heating & air equipment for Paine Ref./Hughes Supply across south Mississippi; he retired in 1996. On the weekends, if you went looking for Tom, you knew exactly where he would be, outdoors. Whether he was taking care of cows, burning something, or getting the tractor stuck somewhere, he loved being out on the farm. He also enjoyed getting a garden started, but not necessarily the upkeep and harvesting, he’d leave that part to his wife and kids. But no matter what, Tom was a hardworking man, always staying busy. Later in life, he had more time to enjoy listening to Southern Gospel music, watching old western movies, watching what his great-grandchildren would want to watch and pick on you. Tom will be missed by all that knew him. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Wanda Larkowski; children, Mike (Debra) Larkowski and Michele Chaffin; sister, Evelyn Richardson; grandchildren, John (Kristy) Larkowski, Melissa (Daniel) Scarborough, Brynnen (Madison) Keel, and Austin Keel; great grandchildren, Tyler (Carley) Swan, Gavin Larkowski and Aaron Smith; two great great grandchildren; along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas is preceded by his Parents, Stanley and Olevia (Ladnier) Larkowski. Services for Thomas will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, beginning with a visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Robinwood Baptist Church. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by interment in Live Oak Cemetery in Saucier, MS. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Larkowski family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
