Preceded in death by his parents, Valentine Hatfield and Wilhelmina Brown Hatfield, his brother, David Hatfield, his brother-in-law, RJ Ladner, and his sister-in-law Susan Mauffray.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Marianne Hatfield, a legacy that includes his daughter, Miranda Hatfield, his son, Justin Hatfield (Victoria), and grandchildren Isabella, Alexander, and Eleanor. He loved his family dearly and was always willing to share what he had and help his brothers-in-law in any way he could. He volunteered his time to the church and neighbors by cutting grass and cooking. He was known to spend countless hours picking blueberries, just to give them away to family and friends.
In his free time, he could be found fishing, golfing, picking berries, or watching his beloved western shows on tv. He also loved cooking, grilling, and doing yard work.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
