Terry Paul Stennett

October 30, 1963 — July 28, 2025

Biloxi, MS

Terry Paul Stennett, 61, of Biloxi, MS., passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, in Gulfport, surrounded by loved ones after a brief hospital stay due to medical conditions. Terry was born on October 30, 1963, in Baton Rouge, LA, to his parents, JC and Judith (Aillet) Stennett.  Terry graduated from the Class of 1981 at Long Beach High School and began working in construction a few years later as a brick mason. Through Terry's creativity and hard work, he became a Master Stone Mason, evidenced by his many beautiful projects along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Terry became an artist without realizing it, and though Terry never boasted about his work, the project he was most proud of was the one he completed at Blackjack Ranch in Wiggins. His designs and work spoke for themselves, and no matter how hard the job was, Terry would see it to the end.  Terry never met a stranger.  He loved being around people and somehow always found a laugh in any situation.  Terry was a true animal lover at heart.  He found his true calling in his stonework, though it was taking a toll on his body; he rarely complained.  Terry's legacy will live on through the work he has done and will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those he was closest to. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Judith Ann Stennett; one brother, Jerry Michael Stennett; and one sister, Cathy Marie Pierson. He is survived by one brother, Alan Dale (Sheila) Stennett, and leaves a legacy of numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.  The family would like to thank all of the staff at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport for their dedication and care while Terry was in their hands. They are true professionals.  A celebration of Terry's life will be held at a later date, provided by the family.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stennett family during this time and would ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the days ahead.
