It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Eugene Ford, on Christmas day, 2025, in Hattiesburg M.S. Terry was born on March 27th, 1950 in Perryton Tx. A dedicated husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend to anyone who crossed his path; Terry was a very kind hearted man who always lived up to his honest word.

In 1966 Terry met the love of his life and soulmate Linda Cooper in high school. As high school sweethearts Terry and Linda married in 1970 in Dumas Texas. Terry then went on to be a farmer for many years in Boise City Oklahoma. In September of 1985 Terry would achieve one of his most memorable milestones in life by becoming a dad and adopting his only child and daughter Brittany Ford. Terry’s joy was his family, or in his words was “his girls”.

Throughout his life, Terry enjoyed several pastime hobbies. His most recent hobby in retirement was refurbishing sewing machines. His passion for sewing machines led him on a path to meeting and befriending many people all across the country and even world-wide.

Terry is survived by his wife Linda Ford, daughter Brittany Flynn, son-in-law Jack Flynn, sister Roxie McCall, and many life-long and new-found friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Ford, father Carl Ford, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on the day after his birthday, Saturday, March 28th at 260 Redmond Road, Lumberton M.S. The celebration will include a cook-out; Cook-outs with large crowds were one of Terry’s favorite parties to host. His kind hearted soul, and boundless love will remain in our hearts forever.
