Mrs. Tammy Marie Keneaster Bignell

Our hearts break as heaven receives another angel. Tammy Marie Keneaster Bignell, 43, passed peacefully on Jan. 18, 2019 at her home in Gulfport. Born March 3, 1975, Tammy grew up in New Orleans and Gretna, and was full of spunk from the beginning. After High School, she attended college and received her degree as a CNA. She will be remembered for her love of music, dancing, and the ability to befriend everyone she met. Tammy was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. Even through her illness, she gave us all courage, hope, and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Tammy was preceded by her grandparents, Daniel and Mildred Meyer, and her father-in-law, Demoin Bignell. Left to cherish her memories are: her loving soul-mate and husband, Nathan Bignell; two daughters: Amanda and Christina Nettles; her devoted parents, Milton and Dana Andrew; step-brother, Norman Andrew; step- sister, Holly Andrew; mother-in-law, Joyce Bignell; two grandchildren, numerous aunts and uncles, plus extended family and friends from all walks of life, including her feline babies, Socks and Dixie, and her canine love, Mattie. A Celebration of Life is set for Sat., Jan. 26, 2019, 11 AM, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry, MS. Trinity is honored to serve Tammy's family in their time of need, and asks that you keep them lifted up in prayer in this difficult time.
