Tamara Lurine Moran, 50 of the Kiln, passed away Thursday evening at The Carpenter House in Gulfport, after a lengthy illness. She was born August 21, 1971, the oldest of three children to Eddie Francis, Sr. and Joyce Lurine (Cochran) Moran. Tamara grew up in the Kiln and enjoyed music and dancing from an early age. She was a true country girl as well now, enjoying mud riding, 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, and of course her favorite vehicles, Jeeps. She graduated from Hancock North Central High School with the Class of 1989 and worked a few different jobs, including the US Postal Service, before settling in as a licensed insurance agent. She is lovingly remembered as a fun-loving, outgoing woman that loved her music and partys. Tamara was what most would call a true "party animal", with Mardi Gras being one of her favorite times of the year. She participated with the Krewe of Saints and Sinners and loved riding in all the parades. You could always hear her coming down the road, as she rode in her jeep with the doors and top off, and music blaring. For her, that was just fun. She enjoyed watching tv, with Big Broother being one of her favorite shows, and of course sleeping in after a good night of partying with her friends. Tamara was a dependable sister who was admittedly spoiled by her mother, since she was her first child. One thing you could honestly count on with Tamara though, was that she was going to be late. Didn't matter what it was, she would not be there on time, most likely because she was making absolutely certain her makeup was perfect and her wardrobe was coordinated. That's who she was, and she no reservation in telling you that, or anything else that was on her mind! For all those things and so much more, she will definitely be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her. Tamara leaves a host of family and friends, including her only son, Aaron (Megan) Dunn of Slidell, LA; her parents Eddie and Joyce Moran, Sr., her sister Latisha (Brad) Ladner, and her brother, Eddie (Jenna) Moran, Jr., all of the Kiln. She leaves a legacy of four grandchildren: Alleigh and Aaron Dunn, Jr., Isabella Oliveri, and Aiden Ruiz, all of whom she loved dearly. Services are set for Tuesday, July 5th at Faith Baptist Church in Gulfport. The family will recieve friends for visitation beginning at 9 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11 AM, with Pastor Dan Carr, Sr. officiating. Following the service, Tamara will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Moran family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
