Ms. Susan Brown Saterfiel

Helen "Susan" Brown Saterfiel passed away on Sept. 06, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital. Susan, as she was so affectionately known, was the fourth born child to George and Alyce Brown in Lumberton, MS. She always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, had a soft heart for animals and was loved by everyone she met. She graduated from Pearl River Community College but some of Susan's fondest memories were from her high school years spending time with friends. She was so proud to represent as the Homecoming Queen for the 1968 Lumberton High School Class. Susan was also voted most beautiful her Sophomore year and was selected as a Junior Maid. She was very active in all parts of the School serving Annual Staff 4 years, Student Council 2 years, Band 4 years, Majorette 3 years and FFA 2 yrs. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings Woody Brown, Jimmy Brown and Ludy Arnold. She is survived by her three children Michelle Saterfiel, Shane Saterfiel Gruver (husband - Dan), and Zachary Saterfiel (wife-Heather) along with five grandchildren, one great- grandchild and numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family will be having a graveside service Monday Sept, 17,2018 at Lumberton City cemetery at 10:00 AM. Please remember the family during this time
