Susan Bradshaw Hiley, affectionately known as Susie to her friends and family, passed away on December 17, 2024, in Picayune, Mississippi. Susie was born on May 22, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Susie touched the lives of many with her kindness and genuine care. She worked as a Phlebotomist in both Ohio and Mississippi hospitals, where her skill and compassion left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the patients she served. An ardent football fan, Susie and her husband Michael, had great enthusiasm for the game and her favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals. She was also an avid collector, finding delight in the simple pleasure of adding to her various collections. Susie's love for cats was well-known, and her feline companions over the years provided her with much comfort and companionship. Her beloved pet, Sandi, will continue to be cared for by her friends Talina and Chad. Susie will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends. Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Lyda and Lloyd Bradshaw; her husband and love of her life, Michael Hiley; her mother and father-in-law, James and Dorothy Hiley; and her brother and sister-in-law David and Kathy Hiley. Her memory will be held close by her sisters-in-law, Peggy Hite, and her husband Rick; Margaret Hiley; her nieces Andi Bedford, and her husband Matthew, Marvella Williamson, and Shauna Catanzaro; and her nephews, Rick Hite Jr. and his wife Priscilla, Derek Hiley, and his wife Sarah, Gabe Hiley, and his wife Angelica, and Joshua Hiley, and his wife Ali. She was also a beloved Aunt to many great-nieces and nephews. Susie leaves behind a network of friends and special cousins. Her friend and neighbor, Dan and his wife Wendy, along with Talina and Chad, were a great blessing in her life. Their companionship and support were a source of strength and happiness for Susie. Susie's courageous approach to life's challenges inspired all who knew her, and her thoughtful gestures, whether big or small, made a difference in the lives she touched. As we say farewell to Susie, we remember her legacy of love and kindness. Susie will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Susan Bradshaw Hiley's story is one of warmth, courage, and compassion. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light to those who knew and loved her. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Hiley family during this time and would ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days. A family Celebration of Life for Susie will be held at a later date.
