Susan Beth Bailey, a cherished and beloved figure, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, in Hattiesburg, MS. Born on August 24, 1954, in Manhattan, NY, Susan's zest for life and her nurturing spirit touched everyone she met throughout her rewarding journey of 70 years. Susan left an indelible mark on her community through her dedication to a career in banking. She began her journey at Hancock Bank as a teller and, with her unmistakable charisma and work ethic, rose through the ranks to become a skilled mortgage processor. Her later years were spent contributing her expertise to Grand Bank and serving diligently as an accountant, roles in which she not only excelled professionally but also forged numerous enduring relationships. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Susan's passion for life was evident through her love of yard work and the meticulous care she took of her flower garden. She found solace and joy in nurturing her plants, often seen with a burn pile nearby, making way for new growth. Those warm Mississippi days found Susan basking in the sunlight by her pool, reveling in the simple pleasures of life. Susan is preceded by her husband Robert Glynn Bailey and her parents Harry Heinrich and Betty Quinn. She is survived by her children Lisa(Robby) Clutts, Joseph(Kristy) Gonzalez, Michelle Gonzalez, Joshua(Jody) Bailey, and Lauren Bailey; her sister Carolyn Hornberger; her grandchildren Brittany, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Brandon, Elizabeth, Josh, Ruby, Rebecca, Blakeney, Logan; her great grandchildren Harper, Alana, Maggie, Mylah, Liam and Mateo. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Bailey family in their time of need and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
