Steven Lynn Saucier

Steven L. Saucier, 73 of Purvis, passed away peacefully November 14th, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1950 in Poplarville, the son of the late Bentwood and Vivian (Haden) Saucier. Steven. Steven grew up in South MS and served honorably in the US Army during Vietnam. After his discharge, he made his home in the Purvis area and worked in the oil fields for many years. Steven is lovingly remembered as a great dad and "Pawpaw" to his grandchildren. His memories will be forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. With his parents, Steven was preceded by his sister Katherine Bond, and a grandson, Isaiah Ryan Harrison. Left to cherish his memories are: his daughter Nia Quick; and two sisters: Nelda Lee and Patricia (Howard) Billie. He leaves a legacy of three grandchildren: Michael Saucier, Kaden Quick, and Ash Cooley, along with numerous extended family and friends. Steven's final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring.
