Steven Wayne Musgrave

Steven Wayne Musgrave, 55, of Long Beach, MS, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Born November 3, 1967, in North Carolina to Vernon and Alice Musgrave. Steven grew up in a military household, moving around and exploring many places. His family eventually settled down on the Gulf Coast when he was 11 years old. He thoroughly enjoyed gardening and puzzles. Steven was a very soft spoken and inquisitive man with the sweetest personality. When someone was in need, Steven was there, willing to lend a helping hand. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful husband, son, and brother. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 16 years, Christine Musgrave of Long Beach; mother, Alice Musgrave of Long Beach; and siblings, Sherri Byrd of Long Beach, Lee (Tammy) Musgrave of Garner, NC, and Shannon (Jason) Crowder of Long Beach. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Colonel Vernon Musgrave, U.S. Air Force, Ret.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Long Beach, MS. Steven also had a great love for animals. As such, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Humane Society of South Mississippi would truly honor his spirit.
