                                                                                    Steven “Steve” Wade Larsen, 56

Steven Wade Larsen, lovingly known as Steve, passed away at the age of 56, leaving behind a family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Steve was a hardworking man who loved his family and treasured the time he spent surrounded by those closest to him. He had a special love for the water and the river, where he found happiness and peace. Whether enjoying the outdoors or gathering with family and friends, Steve valued the moments spent with the people who meant the most to him.

One of Steve's greatest blessings was being a Papa to his beloved grandchildren, Marlie-Ann and Matthew. They shared a special bond with their Papa, one filled with a love that words can hardly express. He held a special place in their hearts, just as they held one in his. The love they shared and the memories they made together will remain with them forever. Although they will miss their Papa more than words can say, the bond they shared will never be broken, and his love will always be a part of them.

Steve leaves behind his beloved wife, May Larsen; his only son, Steven “Colby” Larsen, and daughter-in-law, Emily Larsen; his cherished grandchildren, Marlie-Ann Larsen, age 6, and Matthew Larsen, age 14; and his two brothers, Tyler Larsen and Robert Larsen.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Eric Francis Jr.; Barbara Larsen; his grandparents, Eric Larsen Sr. and Margie Hass Larsen; and his uncles, Jeff Larsen and T-Bone Larsen.

Steve will be remembered for his hard work, his love of the river, his enjoyment of being surrounded by family and friends, and the love he had for those closest to him. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the love he gave will never be forgotten.

His family will carry his memory in their hearts, sharing his stories and holding close the moments that made him who he was. His legacy lives on through the family he loved and the grandchildren who will forever remember him as their Papa.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
