Mr. Stephen Alvis Skelton, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Bay St. Louis, MS. Stephen was born to Elton Campbell Skelton and Marlys Ann Coleman Skelton on August 2, 1969 in Leland, MS.
Stephen became accustomed to being spoiled from the beginning by being the baby of 5. He enjoyed fishing and had a soft spot for all animals especially strays that he would take in. Stephen was in the United States Army serving his country proudly for 3 years. He had a smile that would melt you, a laugh that was contagious and rooted for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His soul brought joy and fulfillment to many and whose legacy will live on forever.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Jesse Alvis and Lura Coleman and an uncle, Tommy Coleman.
Stephen will live on in the hearts of his children; son, Kale Skelton and daughter, Karissa Skelton; sisters, Julie (Glen) Macuick and Sidney Skelton; brothers, Jeff and Brad Skelton, his best friend and companion that put up with his shenanigans, Jean Boudreaux.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
