Ms. Stephanie Diane Davis

Ms. Stephanie Diane Davis, 64 of Perkinston, 64 died Thursday November 2, 2017 in the County she served as a 911 dispatcher. Stephanie was born Dec. 14, 1952, one of 9 children of Elmer & Rowena Parker, Sr. She grew up in Stone county, and was a member of the Class of 1970 at Stone High. Stephanie was a member of Ten Mile Baptist church. She was  a loving, caring mother that raised her two sons and took in others as her own. Stephanie spent many hours serving the county she was born and raised in as a 911 dispatcher, taking calls from citizens throughout the county that had problems that wasn't hers, and helped solve them. She carefully watched over her officers for many many hours, doing her best to assure they all went home safely. They were not just co-workers to Step. They were part of her family, and she loved them like her own. Her kids, grandkids, and her protector Rex (her dog) was her world, as she was theirs. She will fondly remembered and forever loved and missed by all whose life she touched. Stephanie is survived by her two boys, Clay (Veronica) Morse, and Jason (Candace) Morse, both of Wiggins; two sisters, Melanie Parker of Florida, and Rowena Lynn Goble of Wiggins; six grandkids, Zackary (Mercedes), Anthony, and Megan Morse, Linzey Fairley, and Carter and Lexi Colson; three great-grands, Madison and Dawson Morse, and C.J. Hatten; numerous nieces, nephews, and no telling how many friends. She was preceded by her parents, Elmer Sr. and Rowena Parker; brothers Gary, Elmer Jr., Richard, and Donald Parker; and sisters Wanda Ann Hatten and Janice Parker. The family will receive friends for visitation at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2017, with a chapel service to follow at 1:00 PM, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Interment will follow at the Parker Family Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the Davis family, and asks that you keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.
