Stacie Renee Dejarnett, beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering love, deep faith, and a family she treasured beyond measure. Born on May 23, 1974, Stacie’s journey through life was marked by kindness, perseverance, and a quiet strength that touched every life she encountered.

Stacie grew up in Stone County, attending Stone County Schools and graduating with the class of 1993 from Stone High School. Her school years were filled with formative friendships and memories that would remain with her throughout her life. From a young age, Stacie showed an innate gift for caring for others, a gift that would later become the foundation of her vocation and the heart of her identity.

A nurturer at her core, Stacie dedicated her career to helping those in need. Her work at Azalea Gardens was never merely a job—it was a calling she answered gladly each day. Through her roles in both care facilities and healthcare transport, Stacie poured her boundless compassion into the lives of countless people, always going the extra mile to offer comfort and support. To Stacie, tending to others was her proudest achievement outside of her family, and she approached it with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude.

Though Stacie was often reserved and shy, she always wore a gentle smile that revealed her warmth and approachable spirit. Her sense of humor, strong will, zest for life, and deep and abiding faith in God formed the pillars of her character. She could often be found drawing or painting, immersing herself in craft projects, or filling her home with the sweet aromas of cooking and baking—a skill she mastered with natural ease. Whether relaxing with church music or finding solace in her Bible, Stacie nurtured her soul with the same devotion she showed her family.

Stacie’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She reveled in her role as a mother, beaming with pride over her daughters Dakota, Shanice, and Jazzmen. Every moment spent with them was cherished, every accomplishment shared with pride. Her bond with her grandchildren—Easton, Princess-Delilah, and Chevy—brought her immeasurable happiness, and the legacy of her love will remain etched in their lives forever.

She is survived by her devoted husband Willie Dejarnett; loving daughters Dakota Dejarnett, Shanice Lewis, and Jazzmen Angelo; brothers Tommy, Lakisha Lewis, and Rocky Lewis; cherished sister Christina (Gloria) Parkman; and treasured grandchildren Easton Dejarnett, Princess-Delilah James, and Chevy Dejarnett. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she was never shy about expressing just how proud she was of the family she built and nourished. Stacie was known for her gratitude and admiration for each member of her family, speaking of them often and with deep affection.

Stacie is reunited in eternity with her father Andrew Lee Lewis Sr., her mother Mary Kathryn Scarborough, grandmother Rena Mae Terrell, brothers Robert, Gary Lee Lewis, and Andrew Lee Lewis Jr., and her precious granddaughter Naomi Grace. Their memory lived on in her stories and affections, and now, her memory returns to join them, forming a legacy of family love.

Those who knew Stacie describe her as a wonderful person: loving, caring, motivated, full of life, and an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and friend. To her family, she was everything—a source of strength and tenderness, a guiding light through life’s joys and sorrows. She leaves behind countless cherished moments, kind words, and a spirit that will forever dance in the hearts of those who loved her. Visitation will be held on July 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Services, located at 319 US 49, McHenry, MS 39561. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the same location. A graveside service will follow at Little Bond Cemetery, 110 Sellers Street, Wiggins, MS 39577.
