Sheryl Lynn (Mcanally) Abbitt

Sheryl (Sherry) Lynn Abbitt passed away Sunday May 12, 2024. She is survived by her mother, Donna McAnally, her husband Joseph Abbitt, her children Ashleigh Abbitt and Noah Abbitt. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and mentor and light to so many of her family and friends. She is considered by her family to be a true Proverbs 31 woman. Sheryl was raised in Frost, Tx and Garland, Tx. She graduated high school from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Tx. She attended Texas A&M University, Commerce and graduated with a Bachelors in Political Science. After graduation she got a job working as a paralegal. She later worked as a dispatcher for Big Level Trucking. Her crew referred to her as "the glue that held them all together. She was the shoulder each and every one of us needed. She didn't judge, she didn't pity, she kept it blunt and at the same time was as gentle as she needed to be. She was our mama bear. She created us; she took the outcasts and made us each who we are today. There aren’t enough words to describe what she was and who she was." Her husband Joe would like us all to know and remember that she was the magnification of the light of our Father in Heaven and reveling in His Shalom. Selah.
