Shantel Rene (Coblentz) Perkins

Shantel Rene Perkins, age 50 of Kiln Mississippi, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2021. She brought so much joy to all around her, and her smile was contagious. Shantel loved to love people. For many years she worked as an OB/GYN nurse along the coast. It suited her servant heart. Shantel loved spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered and missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Shantel is survived by her husband of 8 years, Marty Perkins; her mother, Patty Gamble; her father, Chuck Coblentz; her daughter, Nicole Swilley (Connor); her son, Drake Swilley; her bonus daughters, Shelbi LeLouis (Nick) and Linsey Perkins (Robert); her bonus sons, Jeremy Perkins and Joshua Perkins; her granddaughter, Aubree, who was her little Sunshine; Mimi’s babies, Maddison and Emma; Sweeties’ babies, Penny, Lucas, Connor, and Zach; her brothers, Paul Coblentz and Joseph Coblents; her sister, Ashley Bruce; her grandmother, Jane Chiasson along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, March 5th from noon until mass at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Standard-Dedeaux Cemetery.
