Shanarne Tonshenie Williams

May 18, 1988 — July 31, 2021

Jackson, MS

Shanarne Williams, 33 of Jackson, passed away in a tragic accident Saturday, July 31 in Jackson. She was born May 18, 1988 at UMMC in Jackson, MS, the daughter and youngest of five children to the late Fred Williams, Jr. and Carolyn Ann Bunton. She grew up in Jackson and came to be known as "Nae-Nae" to everyone. She was outgoing and energetic, enjoying music, dancing and going shopping. One of her hobbies was making crafts, which she loved to do and give to her family and friends. A graduate from Jim Hill High School, Nae-Nae attended Virginia College where she studied massage therapy. She lived in Memphis for a while but returned to her hometown of Jackson in 2018. Nae-Nae did some massage therapy work and recently worked in the cafeteria at UMMC. She is fondly remembered as a sweet, caring lady who was both charming and loving through and through. Her heart for children, both hers and others around her, was ever so special. She wasn't just smart, Nae-Nae was intelligent, described as someone who was "cool, calm and collected" no matter what. Her bubbly personality, warm smile and loving heart will be forever missed by all whose life she touched. Nae-Nae was preceded by her father, Fred Williams, Jr. and her mother, Carolyn Ann Bunton; her brother Rod Bradley, Uncles James "Pistol" Bunton, L.P Williams and Scott Williams; and her precious daughter Chloe who was also taken in the accident. Left to cherish her memories and remember the laughs are: her son, Torrance Calvin "T.J." Reed, Jr. of Kentucky; brothers Jarvis (Deedee) Williams of Las Vegas, NV and Fred Williams, III of San Fernando Valley, CA, with her sister Latoya Williams Hayes of Memphis, TN; her Uncles Isaiah Clemons and Joseph Baker, both of Bolton, MS., Daniel (Geneva) Baker of Meridian, MS., and James Williams of Memphis, TN; her Aunts Ruthie D Cosby of Canton, Ms. and Frances (Perry) Watson Tillman of Clinton, MS.; her loving step-dad Thurman Bradley; her cousin-sister, Twyla Johnson of Jackson and a god-sister Shala Childs. Nae-Nae leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Williams family in their time of need. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
