Sean Patrick Maddox, 44, passed away on December 16, 2021 in Ocean Springs. He was born on May 09, 1977 in Pensacola, FL, the forth of five children to John Wayne and Sandra (Barlow) Maddox. Sean grew up in Ocean Springs where he came to enjoy mud riding, but he loved fishing. Salt or fresh water, it didn't matter so long as he could fish. He was also athletic and enjoyed competitive Kung-Fu and football. Sean attended Ocean Springs schools before going to work in construction, where he learned the fine art of finishing concrete. He is lovingly remembered as a defiant momma's boy that usually stuck close to the house. A goofy, often pain in the butt brother, Sean was always trying to get others to laugh. He would cut flips, crack jokes and do all sorts of weird things, just to make you laugh. When he had time to himself, he liked to draw and was quite good at it. Though Sean didn't have any children of his own, he loved kids and enjoyed time with his nieces, nephews and family. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Sean was preceded in death by his father, John Maddox, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Gladys Barlow, and paternal grandparents Winford Maddox and Mary F. Curran. Left to cherish his memories and remember the laughs are: his loving mother, Sandra Davis of Ocean Springs; his sister Bonnie (Jason) Montgomery of Lisbon, IA, and brothers Scott (Ronda) Maddox of D'Iberville, Troy Maddox of Escatawpa, and Keith (Pam) Maddox of Theodore, AL. Sean leaves his nephew, who he was very close to, Mike (Kristin) Maddox of Gulfport, along with numerous additional extended family members and friends. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Maddox family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
