Ms. Sarah Lynn Brunner

Sarah Lynn Brunner, 26 of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday October 24th at Garden Park Hospital. Sarah was born January 23, 1992 in Virginia, the middle of three daughters to Enrico and Becky Brunner. From an early age, Sarah had an outgoing personality. She was the type that never met a stranger, and loved the outdoors, animals, swimming, and tanning. She had a radiant, fun-loving personality, creating smiles wherever she may be. A 2010 graduate of Harrison Central High School, she developed a love for music and dancing, and could often be heard belting out her favorite tunes via karaoke. She was a definite people person, working in reception at Best Western for a while, and as a waitress at Hooters in Gulfport, among other places. Sarah is remembered as having the biggest heart ever, eager and willing to help anyone. Kind, loving, and giving are words used to describe her. Sarah was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with family and friends. Of her favorite verses is Proverbs 1:7 - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." She will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sarah was preceded by: her grandmothers, Dorothy Hoffman and Melodina Brunner, and her grandfather, Frederick Hoffman. Left to cherish her memories are: her loving parents, her mother Becky Sue (Hoffman) Brunner, and her father, Enrico James Vincent Brunner; her sisters, Rebecca Isabell Brunner (Chuckie Lee, Jr) and Leah Marie Brunner, all of Gulfport; her grandfather, John Brunner of PA, along with numerous extended family, friends, co-workers, and patrons. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 30th at 11:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 2:00 PM, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Interment will follow at the Finley Cemetery off Hwy. 53. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to assist the family with funeral expenses at Trinity Funeral Services, or by calling 601-928-5558. Trinity is honored to serve the Brunner family in their time of need, and asks that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
