Sandra Lee Ladner, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on October 7, 2023, in Pass Christian, MS. Born on January 21, 1946, in Mississippi to Edison and Locadie Martin. A wonderful cook, Sandra found joy in preparing large meals for everyone. Her fudge and pralines were almost as sweet as she was, and she loved nothing more than seeing her loved ones gathered around the table, enjoying her delicious creations. Some of her most cherished moments were strolling across the dance floor with her husband. Sandra also loved shopping and spending time with her sisters. Known to everyone as the "Golden Girls," their bond was a source of great joy and comfort to her. The sisters' shared laughter, love, and stories making their relationship a cherished part of Sandra's life. One of the biggest moments in her life was a trip to Graceland, as Elvis was her favorite. Sandra was like a child on Christmas morning seeing such a place! She had a unique admiration for peacocks. This love for peacocks reflected her own vibrant spirit and her ability to find beauty in the world around her. Sandra was known for her kindness and sweet nature; always ready to lend a hand, offer a comforting word, or share a warm smile. She adored her family, children, and especially her grandchildren. Sandra's love for her family was boundless, and she dedicated her life to doing whatever she could for her loved ones and others. Her selfless nature and loving heart touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact that will be remembered fondly. She is preceded by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald Wayne Ladner; son, Zachary Kent Ladner; parents, Edison and Locadie Martin; sister, Durrenda Martin; and her niece, Tyra Tomasich.
