Mr. Sammy Lee Brown, Sr., known as "Bam Bam" by those who knew him best, passed away at his home in Wiggins early Saturday, May 12th. Sammy was the youngest of seven children, born November 24, 1970 to Willie McMullan & Roberta Brown. He grew up in Wiggins, and attended Stone High. After school, Sammy worked for Jerry Fairley planting trees, and also in the sanitation department for the City of Wiggins. He is remembered as a loving and kind brother, a person who loved helping others. He enjoyed the park, and would visit the park often with his black lab, "Poppa". Sammy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sons Sammy Lee Jr. and Samuel Lee Brown; sisters Ruvenia Loury of Wiggins, and Sammie Jean Jones of Newton, along with his brothers Johnny and Randy Brown, both of Wiggins; one grand-daughter, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Sammy was preceded by his parents, Willie-Mack and Roberta, and two brothers, Larry and Willie Brown. Trinity Funeral Services is assisting the Brown family, and will have complete obit details soon.
