Sally Ann (Stanley) Byrd

Sally Ann Stanley Finch Byrd, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after a battle with Demetria on April 18, 2020 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS. Sally is survived by her husband of 11 years, Wesley Byrd; son and daughter- in – law, Robbie and Gwen Finch; daughter and son in law, Amy and Randy Simms; daughter and son in law, Donna and Scott Canada; 9 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sara and Lyman J. Stanley and by her husband, Dr. Robert Rudolph Finch. Sally was born on December 11, 1934 in Alliance, Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Lyman J. Stanley. She was a graduate of North High School in Columbus, Ohio and attended Ohio State University where she was a member of Alpha XI Delta Sorority. Sally loved spending time with her family. Her favorite place was the beach. Sally loved to serve her community as she sewed for a local doctor’s office. She also loved her bridge club, Chic-Fil-A ice cream, chocolate and popcorn. She was a member of Pine Lake church. She loved her Lord; Jesus Christ and she is whole!
